To celebrate the joy of the physical retail store shopping experience and to redefine the physical shopping environment, Jesse Auersalo brought together American Express and outdoor sports equipment manufacturer Lappset to collaborate in American Express’ “Offline” pop-up store showcasing emerging Finnish fashion labels.

Lappset products, energetic, fun and dynamic, were repurposed as playful clothing racks for labels including Marimekko, Samuji, Daniel Palillo and ONAR. Built as part of Helsinki New Fashion Seminar, the store successfully interpreted the main topic of the event: “Turning Creativity into Business”.
